Good heating. Poor temperature control

This is a powerful heater with a nice design and good safety features. The handle isn't ergonomic, but that's okay as it's light and I don't move it often. The problem is that the controller and/or thermometer doesn't work at all. I set it to 65F and sometimes it reaches 80F in the room but the thermometer on the unit still reads 65F. When it works, it sometimes turns on/off once per second for a few seconds. If temperature control is needed, I would choose a different model.
