This linen bed skirt is exactly as described. I took it out of the box, fluffed it up a little in the dryer and then steam ironed it, including the creases. The ironing didn't take long and made the skirt really classy. Getting dressed was easy enough: 3 people, two pulled from opposite sides and one lifted the mattress. In place in less than 5 minutes and fits perfectly. It measures exactly 16 inches which I need for my larger feet on my Sleep Number bed. It looks very clean and tidy, like a neutral accent against my sage/brown/cream bedding and dark hardwood floor. Great value for money wherever I go. We bought a similar item with a 16 inch skirt.
