This item was so easy and quick to put together. I only used a hammer because I wanted to make sure everything was seated and aligned. Once assembled it was strong and durable and I can fit 5 boots on each tier, that's 50 boots or 25 pairs for $20. Hell with those shoe racks that cost a fortune and don't hold enough shoes. It fits perfectly in my closet, on the wall, between the open door and my clothes. Fills in this space as if I sent the measurements myself. My husband used the small amount of hardware provided to connect the two rear side rails to the wall if I bumped into it it wouldn't tip over. I placed all tiers for maximum shoe storage (you can omit the crossbars for larger boots on multiple tiers if you like). High enough between tiers for short boots and I put a pair of tall boots on the top tier. I also have one from the same company. Pretty inventive actually.
