The wipes do not have a strong odor and are really gentle and soft on the face. I love the light scent of lavender, especially as it relaxes you before bed when you're removing your makeup. I usually use coconut oil to remove my mascara and then use these wipes to remove any remaining mascara and makeup from my face. You can also do without coconut oil. (Stubborn mascara can be removed by simply holding the wipe over the area for a few more seconds, then wiping.)
