I have a sweet girl who has been suffering from horrible megacolon attacks for over 4 years. We tried everything with the vets. I've been to veterinary offices and veterinary emergency rooms a few times to have them "clean it up". Poor baby. But this food is part of their care and treatment. She became so ill that she could not eat, her stomach and large intestine hurt so much. She now takes 1 to 1.5 teaspoons daily of Tomlyn Nutri-Cal for Cats, Canned/Wet Fancy Feast Kitten with Milk for weight gain (my cat is older so she needs to build more muscle and gain weight again) and Hill's gastrointestinal -Biome is wet or dry. I would have preferred to have a wet food version but none of the local stores or online stores have a wet version of this brand. They were all sold out within a few months! That's what led me to this brand and it's fantastic. I have to make sure my child is getting enough hydration and lubrication by adding water to canned food, some Miralax and letting Nutri-Cal work like Lactulose. I also give her a drop of Lactulus on a bad day, but I prefer to add nutrients and nourishment to her. This meal is great and works well with my girlfriend who has gastrointestinal issues. Thanks. This is something a pet patent can handle, but you should stay connected and learn about fairy signs from your child and what works for them and what doesn't. Much luck!
