I received error code 5B00 which cannot be recovered by the consumer. This is an error that indicates the ink absorber is full, much like a small trash can for extra ink. The printer refuses to work after just 8 months of use, which seems like a pretty normal experience based on other reviews. Although I'm less than a year old and still technically under warranty, I made the mistake of not buying it directly from Revain, but from a third party "run by Revain". This means that the guarantee is void. if your dealer is not an authorized Canon dealer. Good luck getting this reseller to help you with the warranty. My Revain dealer has a total of 9 items listed here and is likely to close the online store. They have not responded to my inquiries. Previous review when I first got the printer: I was shocked to learn that companies still make printers that only print on one side. Admittedly, I had to make a careful list of the features I needed. However, Canon has never let me down in the past and I have once again trusted them to enable the must-have feature since 2002; two-sided printing. No, not with the G3200. Is it really that hard to list "simplex only" in the description and refer to another Canon product that supports duplex printing? Four words, that's all I ask. My favorite Canon MX922 (Duplex) printer has been discontinued but I'm happy with the G3200's reusable ink tanks. Canon's packaging has the words "Eco-It" and "Green Generation" written on it, but their tree-hugging dreams come down to removing the inner flaps on the cardboard box. That's all. With this printer you kill twice as many trees because you can only print on one side. Yes, you can take out the paper and put it back in manually, but that only works well with 2-sided documents and is annoying in real-time for larger projects. I print over 1,200 copies of a 42-page brochure every year, and hand-feeding paper is just stupid. I have over $200 and need to find a new printer.
