For my Giant Schnauzer's heat cycle, not potty trained so can't really comment on the absorbency although they vary greatly in thickness, absorbency and quality from other typical dog diapers. Washes well, holds up well. I had to use clips on my 70lb Giant Schnauzer to keep her short tail where it should be. I wish the recordings were more substantial. Sometimes they would come off on their own if she moved. Overall very happy with them compared to the volumes of others I've tried including homemade/craft shows.
