You can't use too much. Wipe down with a cloth and within 15 minutes the leather is conditioned and dry to the touch. I've used it on my dressy leather boots and it's conditioning but doesn't leave a greasy film on skin like mink oil does on my work boots. Also used it on my 25 year old baseball glove that I was going to throw away. Returned as new. I was really amazed at that. Finally I used it on our BMW leather seats. Again, the conditions didn't leave the seats oily where the oils would get onto your clothes. Probably not as water resistant as mink oil for work boots in wet, muddy environments. But if you just want skin conditioning and don't want an oily film or residue, this product is great! Highly recommended for car seats, baseball gloves, belts, saddles and anything you come into frequent contact with.
