Extremely durable — I got this to transport 1/4 plywood around in across the city for a project, and it held up well. This plywood had sharp unfinished edges and probably would have sawed through other kinds of bags after 1-2 trips. It’s also worth mentioning that this thing has a huge capacity. I haven’t used it to store personal belongings, but if I ever go camping I will.The bag is very easy to clip closed (there are three holes and one pin, you just put the holes over the pin and then latch closed) and sling over your shoulder. I had to pack up quickly and run for the bus a couple of times with this, and although my stuff was heavy, the bag made it easier to carry and run with in a pinch.And even though this bag was a purely utilitarian purpose, I also got a couple compliments on it from male colleagues as being stylish! It *is* just a black bag, but I agree and think the closure is very nice.
