Runs small: shoes

I may have liked these shoes but my legs are long and skinny. They don't fit and there's nothing I can do to be comfortable with my thumb sticking out of the rim. I think I ordered the so called 12M which fits like a ladies 10 so I just gave it away. I often need women 12M. When it comes from China, the Chinese have a different idea of what size is!
