Review on 🚴 Purple Extreme Synthetic Chain Lubricant for Bicycles with High Mileage - BIKE MEDICINE by Robert Diaz

Great chain lube: Bike Lube

I have tried many chain lubes over the years and all have failed. A clean, well-lubricated chain will attract dirt and everything will quickly fail. Extreme Purple stays wet and once the carrier oil has evaporated it is dry, an extremely effective dry lubricant that resists dirt adhesion. I would suggest giving Mother Nature a little help. If you follow the application instructions, wipe off excess product and leave overnight for best results. The problem I have is that the carrier oil never seems to evaporate unless the weather is very warm which in turn leaves a wet chain prone to dirt. What I'm doing now and it's working great is this. Delete the chain. Roll into a flat, tight circle and place on a piece of ceramic tile. Take an electric heat gun and heat up the circuit so it's nice and warm. Now that the chain is hot, apply chain oil. You can see him being drawn into the cutscenes. If the oil smokes, the chain is too hot. Now, after lubricating, put the chain on the bike. If done correctly, the chain is still slightly wet. Take a heat gun and slowly heat the chain by twisting the handle as it spins and dry off any remaining oil. Once dry, Purple Extreme works great and cooks as promised.
