I don't understand why DJI would send you a high quality unit with a high quality controller, but then give us all this flexible potato chip bag clip to hold our smartphone. They could easily build something like this into their controllers and add about $20 more to the cost of the controller. But whatever it is. This well-made device, while difficult to follow the assembly instructions, is a top-notch holder. This is solid rock. My cell phone 7 plus with case fits perfectly. I can put my phone in the clip with one hand. He doesn't speak. It sits right in the middle so it's a lot easier to see, it's really clear and looks great on my controller. Because it's so reliable, it's much easier to control all the functions of the DJI Go app. For the $10 I paid this is a great value.
