A real deal :) : Generators & Portable Power

I've tried other 120w foldable solar panels (like TwelSevean and Choetech) but this one blew the competition away. (I'm not trying to use this product page to "insult" competing products - they have other impressive specs. This is for comparing products in the same class, such as 120w solar panels). This was delivered to me on May 21, 2021. I tested it on a clear day in California (noon) when the sun was directly overhead. The panel lay flat on the tubs on the balcony so the sun shone directly on the panel. I connected a panel to my solar generator with a pre-installed Anderson connector cable and it consistently registered the power output of this panel in the range of 104-106 watts! At some point, the power of this panel reached 110 watts! No other 120W panel I've used or owned even comes close (90W and 75W respectively from the other panels listed above - using the same clear terms). ADVANTAGES: - Good design. Durable fabric, thick legs to support the solar panel, and a nice zippered pocket with junction box to store accessories. Speaking of accessories. Good long thick cables. As well as a decent length pre-installed cable with an Anderson connector, the solar panel also comes with long DC cables to Anderson and Anderson to MC4 for compatibility with a range of products. - On the connection box, in addition to the pre-installed cable, 1 USB-C port PD 45W and 1 USB port QC 3.0 24W for charging portable electronic devices. - LED indicator on the junction box to let the user know the panel is on and working. - Having a US (California) based company doesn't hurt. CONS: - Not an obstacle, but the pre-installed cable limits the easy compatibility of this panel with other products. If you have products with Anderson this is not a problem. However, for products without an Anderson input, you will need adapters or additional cables with Anderson adapters to connect this panel. It would be nice to have only one DC output so the user can use the cable of his choice to connect the panel to the solar generator, battery etc for charging. Also, if the pre-installed cable and/or the Anderson connector at the end of the cable is damaged or not working, the panel becomes virtually useless (except for charging electronics via the included USB ports). In general, if you have a solar generator with an Anderson input (e.g. Jackery Explorer 1000) this panel will work for you. If not, and you're willing to use adapters and/or jumper cables with this panel, this is the best 120w portable foldable solar panel I've used to date. added another solar panel (100w foldable panel with yellow markings) compared to the 120w foldable panel I bought from them recently. I don't know why they did it - the 120w panel is fantastic. Did I know they were going to "stop production"? Using 120w panel and replacing it with this 100w panel, I would buy another 120w panel. Why is a 100w panel currently more expensive than the previous 120w panel? In any case, this rating refers to the former 120 W panel.

  • THE SOLAR POWER GENERATOR SUPPLY
