Description of Icstation BF350 Strain Pressure Sensor: Precise and Reliable Sensing for Strain and Pressure Measurements

【350 Ohm】 A resistive strain gauge sensor with a 350 ohm nominal resistance which varies when a force is applied. By measuring the change in the sensors resistance, a measurement of the force applied to it can be obtained. 【Constantan Foil】The substrate is made of the modified phenolphthalein, and the grid is made of constantan foil. 【High Precision】With high precision and good static measurement stability, the weighing sensor is suitable for 0.02 level sensor. 【Mini Size】The 7.1*4.5mm specification makes it easy to dissipate heat, consumes less power per unit area, and is easy to paste and solder. 【Temperature Compensation】Simultaneous temperature self-compensation and creep compensation.

Works so far in 4 applications without any problems.

Bought these for vibration measurements where I wasn't concerned with the amount of stress just the frequency and for that they fit perfectly. I also did some basic testing on the axle bar and the result was as expected in terms of bar characteristics and weight on it. I applied them with Loctite 495 after sanding 400 and then 800.

Pros
  • Temperature Compensation
Cons
  • Doubtful

Perfect, good deal, best in testing, measuring and checking

Great deal for tiny load cells. You are tiny! Difficult to solder without melting and tricky to glue if you have thumbs, but they all seem to be within a tolerance of about 1% of the stated neutral resistance and they really do what strain gauges are supposed to do. . 4 of these in a Wheatstone bridge configuration on some load cells work well with cheap standard load cell amplifiers that you can easily find.

Pros
  • 350 ohms
Cons
  • I will add later
