.Previous experience. It was my ex's old iPad that he gave to our son. I bought him a black suitcase "Beetle" and it served him for many years. He literally must never have cleaned it after our divorce, he was so gross giving it to our son - lol. I ordered a new case and let my son choose the color because not only was the old case ugly but the screen cover was scratched and scarred. The disadvantage of these covers is that they are almost impossible to remove. My son is 23 years old but with an intellectual/cognitive capacity of around 2 years. He also has problems with oral motor skills (swallowing). Drooling is a "thing". So I have to take the case off every few days to give it a good clean. I don't know how many nails I ripped off; I don't want to use it like a butter knife because I'm sure it will slip and hurt me. This case is SO hard to remove. *** BUT *** unless you're someone who needs to clean their iPad and case often (or you have a case for every outfit - I've seen you all! lol) this would be an amazing, long one ongoing case.
