Great for a bird! LOVE THEM!

I love these little ties! I use them to mark the different breeds of chicks I'm hatching :) The variety of colors allows me to create color combinations for hatching, availability, sex, age, breeding group and more! UPDATE: I bought several packs. Quality and colors match. If you want the full color spectrum, make sure you buy the right product. I would like the black and white ones to be part of the package but I can get them elsewhere. I ring chicks from hatch to adulthood. You should clip and reapply the bands every 2-4 weeks as they grow to give them more room to grow without the band cutting into your leg. I only mention this because I see bad reviews on a lot of these little ties about the tie cutting a bird's leg. Anyway, it was great to have her. Whether I'm selling or raising chickens, I can see immediately who they are and what they are. Roosters get a special orange bandage on their left leg (you can spot extra young at a glance), all birds get breed markings on the right. The color combinations tell me who the mother and father of the chicken are. The lack of labels tells me I have no idea what the hybrid is :P The bright red labels tell me at a glance that they are not for sale (useful for customers; red means not for sale, no exceptions!) . You can also direct customers to a way to tell their little chicks apart, which is helpful if they're unfamiliar with the breeds they're buying. ). They are quick and easy to put on chickens with one hand. They seem to lose their brightness after a few months, but I rarely keep birds that long without changing bands. Oh, and I also use them for electronics and cables. It's also very helpful :)
