My wife Ellen: Great ties (I bought the red version for my 5 year old and the green version for my 6 year old) except for One small but important issue: The tie 'closes' at the neck with a fastener similar to a seat belt buckle Well, the night we wore it (for the first time) to the Christmas presentation, taking it off was a big problem I had to at the end use a sharp object to push it out to pull it out, it took about 10-15 minutes and we couldn't just pull it over our head because it didn't fit.
