I love this rug. I will order again. I tried to love the Strathmore 400 series notebook, tried hard. but it just doesn't fit. Although the Strathmore's weight difference is only 5 pounds, the difference is huge. Cason is noticeably heavier and doesn't wrinkle in the wash like Strathmore. I hate keeping paper on Strathmore only to erase it. Even turning the page to the next goal conceded is a pain. I have to be very careful not to ruin the sketch with a crease or crease as I move on to the next page. I didn't really appreciate the Canson's ease of use until I got over the lighter weight and general difficulty of using the Strathmore pillow. The same pencils smudge easily over Strathmore, not Cason. When buying in bulk, I would have saved $15 by using Strathmore over Canson. But the Canson is so much better in every way that I've already made the decision [after about 12 sketches] not to skimp. And keep buying Canson brand seals.
