Review on SCOSCHE SAC656 1995 Up Speaker Adapter by Brian Wolf

Revainrating 4 out of 5

When installing this mount, place the LONG tongue in the same place for a perfect fit. Glue the foam tape behind the bracket.

I bought these for a speaker upgrade for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Soundbar. They were a little disappointing at first as they didn't come with mounting hardware. Which leads me to believe that somehow they just used the existing Jeep screws to attach the speaker to the bracket. You are not. I called Crutchfield. If you buy them from Crutchield Electronics, they come in a package with assorted mounting nuts, wedges, screws, etc. to fit each speaker, and they're about $5-8 more expensive. This package was missing! After a quick trip to the hardware store, I purchased #6 3/4" pan head machine screws and bolts for 18 cents each. I attached my Kicker Cs65 to the bracket and the tabs on the bracket lined up perfectly with the 3 mounting points on the soundbar. A little hint. When removing the old speaker, remember where the LONG tab of the three tabs is. For a Jeep soundbar, it should be the closest thing to Twitter. When installing this mount, place the LONG tongue in the same place for a perfect fit. Place foam tape behind the bracket and between the speaker and the bracket for a snug fit and to prevent bass rattling. I only put 4 because there are no screws or instructions included in this package. But after a while the problem got fixed. They are perfect for 6.5 speakers
