This air purifier is easy to set up and use. Simply open the plastic filter, put on the cap and switch on. Auto mode detects air quality and changes fan speed for most efficient operation. Surrounding the display is an LED ring that shows different colors for different quality levels, providing a quick way to monitor air quality in a room. There's a sleep mode that turns off the display and a turbo mode to run the filter at high speeds, but additional features like Wi-Fi connectivity aren't included on this model. I like simplicity and don't need features like that anyway. The filter is easy to clean and replace, and it is recommended to clean it every few weeks depending on indoor conditions. You can simply vacuum the filter to remove dust from the outside. The HEPA filter needs to be replaced about once a year, but again it depends on the conditions in your room. This unit occupies a large area of 550 square feet and the only real downside is its size. It's large and white so it really stands out when you have it in a darker themed room. Another downside is the cost of replacement filters, ranging from $120-$160, but that's what you'll need to replace for any large HEPA air filter, and the price is commensurate with the large coverage area. a finished basement that can get a bit musty at times. The filter completely changed the quality of the air down there and it's never smelled better. It's not very noisy and runs in automatic mode all the time, drawing very little power to function. Good quality product, shame it's so big but for me it's worth the fresh filtered air.
