I usually wear wide shoes so I was afraid they wouldn't fit. I read enough reviews to decide to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. These shoes hug my feet without being too tight. They felt instantly comfortable with proper arch support and stayed comfortable throughout the day. At work I easily take 10,000 steps a day and even the first day I wore my feet these shoes didn't bother me. I love this style for everyday looks that need something more flattering than your average sneaker, and even my high school volunteers praised me for it. I prefer to wear socks with my boots so finding ones that don't stick out was a challenge. (I've had good luck with Darned Tough Top Down socks.)
