Review on 🧱 Lego Creator Expert 10253 Building Set: Unleash Your Creativity! by Justin Castro

Perseverance required - building toy

Great looking model, ready to play right out of the box, but takes a bit of effort to assemble - lots of tiny parts, repetitive sections and an almost all brown color scheme. For these reasons I would not recommend this set for casual builders or most children, it really is for show not play and enthusiasts. However, I enjoyed putting it together and was definitely pleased when the last of the 4163 pieces was locked in place! The parts are in numbered packages (oddly enough, the module 2 parts were in the box), but there's an extra sorting for a more enjoyable experience. preferably before the start of each module. There are many tiny parts, so people with very large fingers will have to do a little work. This model takes up less space than I was expecting - it's not much longer than a large instruction manual and only 7 inches wide at its thickest point (it's quite tall, of course). The assembly will take some time, I have it ready. for a few days, but there were many breaks. The architectural details are very neat and are achieved through an unusual combination of small Lego pieces. Note the use of beige minifigures on the facade, translucent bricks peeking out from the belfry's stripes, spiky "teeth" decorations, cones, etc. There are gilded fences, flowers and crosses: it's always nice, your Lego -Add unique items to collection. Finally, the assembly has a mechanism to turn the hands of the dials higher by turning the little clock stone on the back---fun!
