On a cycling site I belong to, I saw a post with pictures of this type of tyre. I started looking at them because they looked good and were easier to find on the ground when working with bike tires. I did notice a mention of a good gasket to prevent air leaks and wasn't aware beforehand that it was the cover rather than the tire valve that could prevent this. What difference does it make how they landed, both in how well they fit in the stem protector and in that they have a seal inside. I have 4 different types of bikes and I have replaced the cap on each one.
