Review on πŸ‘ž Cole Haan Tucker Black Men's Shoes, Venetian Loafer, Size 10.5 by Juan Grayson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A drop in quality from the original Tucker Venetian I bought from Nordstrom

When I first bought this pair from Nordstrom 2 years ago they were my favorite shoes. Now that I've worn them out and couldn't find them locally, I decided to try them from Revain. I don't think they are fake as some have claimed but they are definitely not the same as the originals I bought. The main issue is the quality/appearance of the leather uppers on these new shoes. They look like very cheap leather. If a pair was $50 or less I'd probably keep it for myself, but at $100 I'm not willing to give away cheaper leather. While these are probably the 'real' Cole Haan shoes, they are definitely different. The originals are stamped in the language "Made in China", believe it or not. And they say they were made in India. Also, the originals had the Cole Haan logo embossed on the insole, while these simply had letters printed on them. (See photos I took) They fit and feel good with good arch support just like the originals. Both the rubber outsole and the textured leather lower part feel good. I just don't like them as much as the originals, and I don't like them enough to keep them. Shipping back today...
