Review on Sterling Rhodium Simulated Screwback Earrings - Stunning Jewelry for Girls by Dave Willis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Ill fitting earrings, NOT screwed

If I could return them I would, but as it was a gift that was shipped across the country it would have to be sent back to me to get a refund and it wasn't opened in time for the return policy thereafter remains in effect On my 2nd cross country ride I will at least warn others about a few disappointing aspects of these earrings: 1. They are described as screw down earrings but have no screw down function. Rather, they are more akin to a twist-to-hold feature which, while not as advertised, is still better than the easy-to-lose regular slip-back earrings.2. They are definitely too big for children! Even in an adult, the pins (according to the child's mother, which can be clearly seen in the photos sent to me) are too long, so it seems that the earrings are falling out of the child's ear, while the pillar there is noticeably no sticking. front and back, and the spherical portion of the earring dangles very freely, tipping from side to side as the child moves their head. 3. The child refuses to wear them on the basis of point 2 above as their unorthodox appearance has been determined by the mother to not even fit an adult - in other words the posts were closed even for the mother long. On the other hand, they really don't cause allergies, which is an important quality.

Pros
  • Super cute and perfect for my daughter!
Cons
  • Artificial opal may not have the same durability or luster as real opal.
