My teen bought this as a Christmas present. There were no instructions in the kit, but assembly is intuitive. Glue works too well. Where we tried to adjust it so that it was flush with the ceiling, not only was the paint peeling off, but the top layer of drywall was peeling as well. The next problem is that the headlights only work intermittently. We were disappointed when a section of three lights didn't work properly, but now, less than two weeks into installation, half of them work less than half the time.
