I bought this set of pens to write by hand. These pens have very soft tips. It takes very little pressure to create thick downward movements, while thin upward movements are difficult and require practice. They are very pigmented and color light and opaque on dark paper and the color is the same on white paper, which I really like. As others have noted, white ink takes a while to appear. After drying in a few minutes, apply transparent/moist and matt. White is the least opaque and works best if you don't apply it more than once. White does not exist at all on white paper. I recommend using these on very smooth paper to protect the tips/brushes as I see them being flimsy and wearing down if used on a rough surface or with too much pressure. Overall this is a good brush marker for the price.
