Review on 🚚 HAPPIJAC Truck Camper Tie Down Kit for Chevy and GMC Trucks by Michael Dixon

Why lie and call it a kit?

This item all but lost its award of the year. The product came with missing parts, and not only that, but once you receive it, you will find that you need to buy what is called a "mandatory stabilizer". Once you get it, you'll find that the "must have" part is finding the device in the giveaway box. It's a very thin piece of square tubing that they charge over $50 for. You can buy a much stronger one at your home depot for about $15. Mounting support plates are also hole templates. On mine I once drilled three holes, screwed in normally, the fourth on each side was offset by more than 1/4 of the hole. It was on both sides, it's not my hole. After hours of assembling things to mount and finally bolt to the truck, the "mandatory stabilizer bar" is blocking the bumper slots so I have another BIG rework to do tomorrow. WU HU. Btw what they mean by "direct frame mount" actually means they ship 2 liter brackets with a "kit" that bolts to your truck body which of course bolts directly to your frame, so I guess technically they're not lying. The picture of the kit shows the fasteners for turnbuckles, but mine came without them. Revain fixed them so it's not a problem for me, but then again, why lie and call it a kit? I know enough people who use them to know they work as expected so I will keep them but I will never buy from Happijack again.
