Not like in the photo. suitable for lashing straps

Installation takes two people and several hours. The lanyards shown are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.

Cons
  • Something is wrong

Not like your dad's Happijack

Happijack has reduced the quality of its product over the years. This part of my 2008 Chevy 2500HD is quite flimsy and worst of all the chrome started to rust after 3 months. I had the same product on my old 1997 truck and had none of these issues. It is unfortunate that this product has been downgraded to "Chinese Junk" status.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons

they work. The manufacturer of these items has a parts list applicable to all trucks which Revane cannot read or obtain a copy of. It's weird how I look for a lucky boy online and get a piece there, but I just can't get Revane to say it.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • No insurance

It's worth the time to install.

After watching the installation video and reading the instructions three times, the installation went smoothly. I'm an experienced mechanic and have installed many types of towbar systems, so I have little experience. However, I have not installed a truck camper system. I was able to complete this work in about three hours. It looks great and is quite discreet compared to the bag peg ties I've used in the past. Great product for the price. NOTE. I will not be using the Happy rear lift…

Annoying installation but looks great!

Well it was a huge PITA. Installed on a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Took almost all day. Once I had one side, the other was a breeze. Tips that will save others a lot of trouble: 1) Do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store with the screws that attach the front brace to the plate (3/8-24 x 1 inch I remember) and get them slightly longer pair (1 1/4 inches worked well). This gives you a little more reach to pull them together while clamping the back of the truck. You can then use the…

Why lie and call it a kit?

This item all but lost its award of the year. The product came with missing parts, and not only that, but once you receive it, you will find that you need to buy what is called a "mandatory stabilizer". Once you get it, you'll find that the "must have" part is finding the device in the giveaway box. It's a very thin piece of square tubing that they charge over $50 for. You can buy a much stronger one at your home depot for about $15. Mounting support plates are also hole templates. On mine I…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
