Well it was a huge PITA. Installed on a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Took almost all day. Once I had one side, the other was a breeze. Tips that will save others a lot of trouble: 1) Do yourself a favor and go to the hardware store with the screws that attach the front brace to the plate (3/8-24 x 1 inch I remember) and get them slightly longer pair (1 1/4 inches worked well). This gives you a little more reach to pull them together while clamping the back of the truck. You can then use the remaining 1" cables, removing the longer ones and replacing them with the 1" cables. It saved me a lot of frustration. 2) Speaking of that heavy tie, hang it on hangers while you screw it onto your plate. Or have someone hold it. Otherwise it will hurt if you try to hold it with one hand. 3) Drilling a hardened steel bed frame is no fun. I ended up using a dremel to simply cut a slot in the drain hole so a large carriage screw would fit through. 4) I ordered the bumper brace separately but it was included in this kit even though it doesn't say so. However, returning the orthosis is easy. Installation difficulties aside, the product looks good. Also, I didn't use a "stabilizer bar" as it obviously takes 4 years to ship and I doubt that means much. Let's see how well it holds up.
