These are springs, they work. But I had some problems. One of them had a piece of paint or maybe metal that had dried between layers of feathers so when I pressed it it just didn't flatten out on one side, after researching I had to use a needle nose to pry something out from between the feathers . It was definitely there when it arrived because it was glued on with the yellow paint used to finish the feathers. Then, after installing 4 springs, one corner of my bed doesn't sink as low as the others. I compress them all the way, but they don't all compress to the same length, maybe there's more dirt between the springs. I plan on raising the Z-stop so I can stretch these springs over a larger workspace. They are not constant in size when almost fully compressed.
