Dog likes to wear it

This cage is easier to assemble than other brands and looks solid. One of the reasons I chose this is because I figured it would be easier to disassemble should accidents happen in our busy 30lb rescue. He hasn't had an accident yet, although the box (or his "clubhouse" as we call it) is larger than the recommended size for it. It's able to stretch out a bit and is much more comfortable in it than the slightly smaller competitor's box we've received before. (In this case he was insane and strong enough to push the frame so that some of the screws holding it together actually popped out!) The size of the boxes relative to the dog's weight is only one factor; You should also consider the dog's build, size and temperament. It's good for Benson, his dog toy and his water bowl, and he'll go in even if we're home and the door is open. Also (and this can only be my imagination) I think the metal bars that make up the "windows" let in a bit more light than some of the boxes with light holes drilled in the plastic. We didn't go for an all metal cage as I've read that males can tend to step up and out of the cage. I remove the star because the top pin of the metal door doesn't fit properly into the hole in the door frame without a lot of effort. This wasn't a problem for us as he is doing well but if he were more agitated or we were planning to crate him a lot I would write to the manufacturer to ask for help on this matter. Having bought a few online and from pet stores, the price we paid for Revain was a good deal.
