I love my salt lamp. I notice that I sleep much better at night. I don't know if it lives up to what it promises, but it also makes a good night light. I use 25 watt bulbs because a 15 watt bulb doesn't give much light. I believe the warmer the lamp, the more ions it purifies the air. I leave mine on 24/7. I dim it at night with a dimmer and turn it on at night to make it brighter. I recommend it. I bought it for a friend and she just loves it. The reason I give 4 stars is because I bought the lamp for about $29.99 and within a month or so tripled the price to $59.xx. I was very disappointed and will not buy this lamp again - because of price gouging.
