Silicone body washcloths are the best!

I have purchased these silicone loofahs from various vendors over the years. In my experience, everything that looks like it in the picture was the same. So don't worry if you order from someone who has more reviews etc. They are all clearly made in the same factories (China no doubt) and resold here by different sellers at different prices. There are different types of silicone washcloths and I won't go into detail about them as the reason for buying them is that you prefer something in that style. But all the loofahs you see in this exact style are the same and you should not hesitate to buy them at the lowest price you see. Now they are in every bathroom in my house. I have referred countless family members and friends to them. Almost everyone loves them, except for loofah lovers (they still exist!) who really prefer the hard, scratchy scrub they can do with a loofah. FLASH - They lather beautifully and become very soapy. Of course, if you hold it directly in the shower, the soap will wash the silicone off faster than a washcloth. But that would be stupid. When I use it to lather my whole body in the shower I have no problem running out of soap/suds. This can be a legitimate concern with silicone dishwashing pads, but for the shower they make great soap/lye. PURITY. One of their main advantages is that they do not contain bacteria like sponges. You CAN still get some bacteria, but only a fraction of a regular sponge as they dry out quickly. They can also be easily washed in the dishwasher if you are extra careful with such things. SOFTNESS/PEELING - I have a friend with skin so irritated that she could only use baby washcloths in the shower and only a few times before. they had to be replaced. You solved this problem for them. They really allow you to clean the skin with a rag or sponge without rough scratching. Of course, you can adjust the pressure of the scrub to your liking. But if you like fabric scratches, this will not be repeated. The thickened side is said to massage cellulite to reduce its appearance. I don't really believe in these statements, but of course hope reigns forever. COMFORT. There is another version that has side notches to provide a more comfortable fit for the hands. I generally prefer this style. I find the other style fails in hand. With this shape you have everything under control. But that's just a user preference. STORAGE. The only thing I don't like about this product is the lack of a hanging loop. The only way to keep it in the shower is to put it on a ledge. I HATE when things sit in my shower, building up suds and allowing a possible small amount of bacteria to grow. I'd rather hang them on a hook to dry. I really wish there was a loop at one end. APPEARANCE - I buy from any retailer that has a color that can work in a bathroom. I wish they were available in more muted colors but black is also available. In the shower they look infinitely "prettier" than a washcloth. It almost looks like a good sponge. FINAL VERDICT - It's infinitely better than a washcloth or sponge. They work well, rinse easily, do not contain bacteria to the same extent, are durable, do not require regular washing, can be washed in the dishwasher if desired, lather well, clean the body very well, look beautiful. These are some of my favorite "things you didn't know existed and need in your life" cheap gifts, and they're always a hit.
