My God these are strong! WOW! I literally cannot slide the magnets to the side to separate them. Wow! great!I have no idea what I will do with them but I am scared of them! I even laid them on some wicker furniture thinking their was no metal but I could even feel them pulling on a thin wire in the wicker I didn't even know existed!Very cool. Always wanted some and now I have them. You really cant believe how strong these are if you haven't experienced them before. YOU hear what people say but…

Pros
  • Industrial Magnets
Cons
  • The package does not include a storage case for the magnets

It's always a gamble to order strong magnets

One magnet arrived chipped with a crack running down more than half the length of a side. It's essentially useless for a solid magnet, but I have many uses for dangerous ceramic magnetic shards. Then, because I'm a dummy, I let the other magnet fall free and subsequently shatter after freeing it from the packaging. I'm a bit disappointed to see that there are no returns allowed on this item, but I feel I was shorted by receiving a pre-damaged item. I made no attempt to evaluate the other magnet

Pros
  • EXTREME DURABILITY - Nickel-Copper-Nickel triple layer coating for superior durability.
Cons
  • The magnets can interfere with electronic devices

Styrofoam? Really?!

If you want powerful magnets, and you're happy with having to come back to this product page for any information/instructions/guidance you might need, AND you HATE the environment, these are for you!I was shocked when I opened this box to find them packed in styrofoam. I mean, c'mon, it's 2020! It's not an exaggeration to say that styrofoam (more technically, expanded polystyrene) is one of the worst things for the planet that we've created in recent time. It's not practically or functionally…

Pros
  • Made from high-quality neodymium material
Cons
  • The magnets may not be strong enough for some applications

What can I say? They are large magnets! Duh.

Oh my. I like my magnets. And these are large and in charge. I can pull them apart from each other only with mechanical leverage (wooden ramp). As with all magnets of this type. DO NOT allow them to slam together of course or sadness ensues. revain asks if they are "Easy to remove"? From what I must ask so I was only able to put three out of five stars. From 1" thick solid steel, nope. Not easy to remove. From plastic. Sure. Very. sigh.Lots of fun for those that are aware of the risks. I bought

Pros
  • Can be used as a source of magnetism for experiments
Cons
  • The magnets can cause injury if they become lodged in delicate body parts

Super powerful to the point of being dangerous.

Don’t get a finger in between them. They will make you bleed and make you cry trying to rip your skin out from between them. I’ve lost skin from 3 fingertips because of my carelessness when handling them. I now keep them in separate rooms. 😎

Pros
  • Rare Earth Magnets
Cons
  • If not handled carefully, the magnets can break or chip

Great magnets! Very strong but very fragile.

First, these are INSANELY strong magnets. I used them for a physics demonstration, and one of my students was not careful to empty their pockets before handling the magnet and it wiped the magnetic strip on his student I.D. in an instant. They will wreck havoc on your cellphone or computer. Not a toy by any stretch. These magnets are very difficult to separate, even if you are strong, and if they are anywhere near each other, they will come together so violently that they will chip or shatter…

Pros
  • Exceptionally strong magnetic pull
Cons
  • The magnets can cause injury if they snap together from a distance

Dangerously strong good for me

Really hard to take apart. Please add more spacers! Sell a wrapper to prevent explosive attraction. REALLY dangerous when 2 cubes come together! Paracord wrap makes them safe to have in the same room. Makes you appreciate the magnetic force. A plastic wedge is needed if spacers not between cubes to separate them. Remembering you want to slide them away from each other , not pull apart.

Pros
  • Perfect cube shape for easy handling
Cons
  • The magnets can be hard to find if they fall or roll away

Inadequate Packaging

The two magnets were shipped with only a 1/8 inch thick plastic ring separating them from touching each other. Despite great care, one of them was slightly damaged in the process of separating them from each other. A 3/4 inch thick spacer would have provided the same ease of packaging, but would have allowed the user to separate the magnets with greater ease and no damage to the magnets.

Pros
  • Can be used in science experiments or classroom activities
Cons
  • The magnets are fragile and can shatter if dropped or hit hard

Came with a large chip out of one magnet already missing

Opened the package and there was a sizeable chip in one of the cube magnets, with no sign of the chipped off piece. Disappointing to say the least, but doesn't otherwise affect the performance of the magnet.

Pros
  • Cost-effective compared to other magnets
Cons
  • The magnets can cause damage to electronic equipment if not used with care

Super STRONG Magnets

I read the reviews on these magnets, and folks weren't kidding, These are dangerously strong. Definitely not a toy, so, keep away from children. I watched one video review that showed how to get them apart, by putting one on the counter and sliding the other one off. If you are successful separating them, I agree with another reviewer to store them with a piece of wood between. I'm thinking 1/2" your be a good spacing.I'm going to use them to locate where to put a roof vent on my roof. I have a

Pros
  • Ideal for crafting and woodworking
Cons
  • The package only contains two magnets, making it less convenient for larger projects

Powerful Magnets on my review.

I purchased these magnets to erase old hard drives. I was very happy with the magnets. My only complaint was in the packaging as the two magnets were shipped with only a small ring between the magnets. It was extremely difficult to separate the two magnets. If I were to repurchase the magnets, I would purchase two packaged separately.

Pros
  • Can be used in home décor projects
Cons
  • The magnets can pose a risk to pets if accidentally ingested

super powerful. for my opinion

Magnets were Extremely difficult to separate. In the future I will order two single magnets this way I will not have to go through that struggle again. Otherwise, the magnets are extremely powerful and I imagine would be difficult to remove from the surface I attach them to. They work great. They are so powerful that they literally jump out of your hand attached to the surface or anything of metal that is near the magnets. I keep my safety cones in the Bed of my work truck and was getting tired

Pros
  • Versatile use for DIY projects
Cons
  • The magnets are not very effective when used with non-metallic substances

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Came Stuck Together

These are definitely strong magnets but they came stuck together with no instructions. Since we cannot get them apart they aren't much use. They were packed well, though.

Pros
  • Can be used for magnetic fishing
Cons
  • The magnets are not fully weatherproof and can rust over time

Amazingly strong! good for me

Be warned --these magnets are incredible! I was planning to put them into old socks (like I do with a slightly smaller magnet that I have) to make them easier to remove from surfaces. I managed to pry them apart, but unfortunately I did not realize how strong they are. Thinking that it was a safe distance, I set them down a few inches apart and they immediately slammed together and both shattered. That is not a problem with the magnets --they are very powerful--it's my fault for not realizing…

Pros
  • High-grade N52 magnetic strength
Cons
  • The magnetic force can be hard to control and unpredictable
