I bought these to replace some magnets on some led trailer lights. They work great there and the screw hole was perfect for attaching them. I was demonstrating the strength to my son with one on top of a 1.5inch thick piece of foam and one on the bottom. It was strong enough to move the top magnet but when it jumped off the edge, it snapped to the other one and split them both in two. Screwed one to a workbench and it held a 12" crescent wrench easily.

These are very strong magnets. Just be careful with them as I believe they could do some serious damage if your finger is between it and what it's attracted to. Also, these are big so use them for an appropriate application (i.e. probably too big for a refrigerator magnet unless your kid makes really big art :}.

I bought these magnets to hold wood vise jaws on a new woodworking vise that I recently purchased. I simply drilled flat bottom holes in the poplar wood vise jaw inserts with a Forstner bit of the same diameter as the magnets and the thickness of the disc magnet in four spots and used the screws to secure them. If I’d known how powerful these magnets were when I ordered them, I would have bought fewer packages. I required strong magnets to hold a sign in a place subjected to the elements and designed a board to hold 8 magnets. But due to their crazy strong magnetism, I required only 3 magnets per board, and even then, it takes some effort to remove the board. Easy to remove? Magnets are very strong and hold together very well. The company places small plastic o rings to keep magnets from direct contact which helps with removal.

BEWARE! NOT A TOY. these magnets have a LOT of magnetic strength. When you remove one take it away from the others quickly or your fingers just might get pinched or injured. They did the job that I intended them for. Made in China.

Unfortunately shatters if dropped from waist height. Appears to have strength as advertised but that means you have to pull hard enough to separate them so that some may fall. They tried to put little plastic dividers in between the magnets to make this easier, but you need to be careful.Ebay wants the words, stretch, thickness, and adhesion in this review but that doesn’t add much.

I glued these on the back of heavy duty chip clips. (Like for potato chips, lol).I hung them on my front door. Each of my children put a plastic school folder full of papers on the clip each day after school. This puts the folders "in my face" so I don't forget to check them.The magnets glued nicely & are super strong. I will buy these again if needed!

I installed in my mobile router table and the magnet holds the wrench tightly. No worries of loosing it. I have installed in other power tool tables. I am planning to buy more of these at some point of time.

Does what you'd expect, however if not careful, when holding them apart say 6-12 inches, they can quickly fly to attach to one another and actually cause Sparks and explode!

Wicked strong. You need to respect them like electricity. One unconscious moment with one in your hand spells trouble. I passed my hand over my work bench holding a magnet and a screwdriver decided to have a fatal attraction. It could have been ugly. Lucky me it hit lengthwise but it ripped the magnet out of my hand and broke apart. Now I'm one magnet short on my project. You have been warned. Worked well for my project.

These do not have a steel housing jacket. They will crack very easily when you put a screw through them too tightly or they bang into each other.

They are powerful as heck and they do what magnets are supposed to do. But I was disappointed when I opened it up and found that part of the one of the magnets was chipped off. And some other magnets looks like it was about to start to chip off

Wow powerful. Excellent. Don't smack them together this is brittle metal, and try not to get your skin or fingers between them, they are powerful. Did I mention that?

It's a magnet so it sticks. Very strong and held up to the outdoor environment I exposed it to. If I needed it, I would buy it again.

I would give these magnets 4 stars but only received 10 instead of 12 so I was very disappointed. We used it to hang wood shutters and it worked great.adhesion was strong.
