I bought these magnets to hold wood vise jaws on a new woodworking vise that I recently purchased. I simply drilled flat bottom holes in the poplar wood vise jaw inserts with a Forstner bit of the same diameter as the magnets and the thickness of the disc magnet in four spots and used the screws to secure them. It is a bit of a chore to get the screws in because the magnetic field around the discs keeps moving the screw while you put them in. They are also quite difficult to pull apart the magnets as they stick to one another with such great force. The end result was these wood vise jaw faces are held in place very securely and I have four discs left to use for other projects.
