I've been a big fan of Express argyle socks for years, but was wondering if I could find a comparable option for a little bit less money. These definitely do the trick. To be fair, they don't seem to be quite as thick, and they aren't quite as tall, but the colors are vibrant, the material is good and does not look or feel cheap at all. Once you factor in how many socks you get for the price this becomes an amazing value. I am fairly discerning when it comes to things like this, but you definitely get a better product than the price suggests.
