This table came flat packed for shipping but was well packed and stuffed. Easy to assemble and very durable. The upper is structured with lines but with a smooth finish to prevent moisture from being transported to the outside. There are small protrusions on the ends of the legs that lift it off the ground, which is perfect as we're using it on a hosed patio. regularly failed (our old unit was rusted by water).
