I usually wash my hair at night (the only time I'm alone in the bathroom all day thanks to the babies), so I need to dry my hair well before I go to bed. Most of the time I prefer to air dry as my hair is very curly. I have a rolled microfiber towel that I used when my hair wasn't dry before bed, but it's flimsy and water seeps through it onto the pillows, so I started wearing winter hats over the towel. Not comfortable. So I set out to find a new, thicker towel that I could wear to bed and that wouldn't wet my pillow. When I first opened the package of this towel set, I was immediately greeted by the cutest teddy bear button I have ever seen. Damn adorable! Then take out the towels and feel the fabric. WOW! Ooooh so soft! I have very long (almost waist-length) hair, very curly and thick, so it can take quite a long time to dry. The turban fit well and when I put it on at night it didn't move or fall and didn't let moisture seep into my pillows. In the morning the hair was still damp but not soaked. Definitely more on the dry side of semi-humidity. When I style my hair I still use a spray to moisturize my hair so it didn't really matter to me. The hat is the same material but allows my hair to lie loosely inside instead of curling like a turban. . It was comfortable to wear but left a mark along the hairline on the forehead so it might be a little tight for others (e.g. a below average head size). What impressed me the most was that after removing the cap my hair was NOT frizzy, my hair's natural curls bounced up and looked amazing. My curly-haired sisters know what I'm talking about almost like I'm wearing a 'T-shirt'. The two bonus velvet hair ties were a nice touch and both look great although I haven't put them on yet. Overall I have to say I really love this set!
