The value of this microphone has more to do with the great software than the quality of the microphone. Don't get me wrong, the mic is really good. But it's the software that really makes this product great. This software replaces your external hardware mixer with a software version that can selectively record audio from certain programs like Chrome/Brave/Firefox and filter out other audio sources like your Messenger on your computer. they are not written to the stream. The only caveat here is that the microphone on macOS introduces a 40ms speech delay on default settings due to a software loop. However, the software loop can be disabled and the null loop enabled instead, very easily by disabling software monitoring. This is already the default in Windows 10. But this is not the case on macOS. However, this little snag isn't serious enough to deduct a star. It only took me about 15 minutes to figure it out. Now that everything is set up correctly, I can jump into the stream very easily. The mic also has an audio output that allows me to connect super slim black in-ear headphones, which usually have a cable that's too short to reach my main computer, but match the slack mic perfectly. In addition, this microphone features a CLIP GUARD that prevents you from clipping your audio if you get too close to it. It's one of the best features and I've used all sorts of hardware solutions to get this feature, including buying an AudioVox 286 that did this as one of their features. However, after receiving this microphone, I gave up on the AudioVox product. Finally, I would like to add that thanks to this product, so much hardware has been eliminated. My studio is a lot cleaner and being able to go straight to streaming without messing around with settings is the best part of this whole solution. This product could sell for a lot of money and I would throw it to them. Too bad I didn't discover this product a year ago. So many wasted hours and returned products trying to mimic what this product does instantly.
