Not compatible: my feedback

I haven't been able to get this to work with my GW 8 teribite system. Why can't all poe equipment work together? The camera may be prone to overheating if it is exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time.

Excellent Camera - my new review

Great video quality, easy installation with the power being supplied over a single ethernet cable terminated with the RJ45 ends. Your NVR and monitor both must support 4K protocol to view the footage in 4K resolution! Great dome camera made even more inconspicuous by the absence of any logo or brand printed on the camera body.

Hidden Gem!: my feedback

I was looking for an alternative option to a camera that fell on the pavement from 25 feet up. Online setup is simple, I recommend downloading the current software online and upgrading the firmware for the smoothest installation. The only complication was learning to marry the camera to the branded NVR I had in place. Once over that hill, the image is perfect and the camera is SOLID.

Great camera, but do your homework first.

This is a wonderful little camera, however, be aware that it is not plug and play, it is more of a commercial grade high-quality fully integrated device and does what it is intended to do very well. If you have any Internet//IT experience, you should be able to assimilate with it very well and appreciate all of it accolades. However if you are a novice with technology, this is not the camera for you.

Good Hikvision OEM camera

The camera works great with my Hikvision NVR. It looks and feels like a Hikvision branded camera but is less costly. I e-mailed their support for updated firmware and they sent it to me right away. Overall, it's been a good experience.

Cameras work well with my system. Changed out lesser quality cameras with these and image quality far better.Motion so much better also.

Better than a Hikvision.

Amazing camera. Much cheaper than a Hikvision and the image quality puts my other 4MB Hikvisions to shame. Will be updating most, if not all of them to this. Again, it's about half the price. And set up was easy and IVMS saw it and was easy to activate. And I have it as part of my Control4 and it works flawlessly.

Great camera and great value

Great camera, i ordered 36 for a customer we were installing a system for and they were wowwed by the picture quality. They seem to be built really well, heavy. Even comes with a sealing boot for the data connection. Adjusting them is super easy too.

Great affordable camera

This is a fantastic camera for the price. It was pretty easy to set up, the POE works great, the picture is clear and the user interface is easy to use and I like the ability to have onboard storage if needed.

Works with Hikvision NVR

No issues with install. Works as designed. Have it deployed outside with a sunshield over the top of it, no problems. Using a simple PoE switch for power. Took a little tweaking to get it to work with the NVR, but it found it and works great.

these are not as advertised

these are for a security system at a marina and are not the hikvision ones i thought i was ordering and therefore are not compatible with our current system.we are requesting a full refund please
