Unfortunately I was able to test this product for protection in real life the first day I received these pants. When I was speeding the bike at 50 km/h on a corner, I fell and hit the bike in the knee, which was standing outside on the road. The only damage was a broken kneecap on the pants and of course a bruise on the shin itself. They did their job for an easy road ride and would highly recommend.
