I needed a case for my new iPad Mini 5 (2019 model). Since there are very few options on the market, I have to admit my expectations were low when ordering. I have to say that I am very happy with the fit and finish of the case. It fits perfectly and I'm not worried about the quality. The lid folds easily and I like that it has an elastic band that holds the case together. In addition, there is a strap that allows you to easily and securely hold the iPad in one hand. Since I bought the Mini 5 to take notes with the Apple Pencil, this feature is perfect for my use case. The elastic pen loop is easy to use and holds the pen well. There are two notches on the lid to support the iPad for landscape viewing and they work well. The lid also has a magnet to sleep or wake up the iPad. The case has all the necessary cut outs needed for an iPad and the holes are lined up correctly. There's an additional cutout for a mute switch, although the iPad Mini 5 doesn't have one. The notch around the rear camera is larger than it should be, but that's not a problem. There's a pocket on the front that you can put a piece of paper or a business card in, but it doesn't hold much. The case is made of plastic that covers most of the corners of the iPad, so it should protect against minor drops. The case lid is lightly padded and feels comfortable. Outside - a beautiful leatherette, and inside - vinyl. I would recommend this case to anyone looking for a good and nice case for their iPad Mini 5.
