I bought it twice, the first time I made the mistake of pointing the light directly at the mirror and the curb without thinking what happens if I want to take it off? So I tried it and the sticky pads stayed on the mirror like a residue, it looked so ugly I threw it away. got a new bedding set and i decided to put some clear tape on the border so the light would stick to the tape and not the mirror itself, tried taking it off and it worked perfectly! Take this as advice, put the film on first, then turn on the light. I learned it the hard way lol
