Review on Discover the Perfect Brew with Tealyra High Fired Tea One Milliliter by Hunter Schneider

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite mug for brewing loose tea.

I have tried several loose tea cups and this is my favorite. I bought one and it arrived at my office the day after I received it. Holds over 12 oz, keeps tea hot for a long time and is well made. A real "cup of comfort" in your hand. It's designed to stay where you drink your tea. Definitely not a travel mug. The lid can hold your coffee maker basket, but I never use it for that. I'm constantly moving around my office, so I always leave a lid on to keep the tea hot when I'm taken from my desk. I had to buy two more to have one for myself at home and one to share with a tea loving friend. I have 1 blue, 1 teal, and another teal for my friend. All colors are beautiful. It's a big mug, so if I have to use tea bags, I use two of them to make tea. Another bonus, although it's large, it fits my Kurig so I can get to my morning tea quickly. Emptying the Recycle Bin requires care. The basket is machine cut stainless steel and some of the edges are very sharp. Stay high and away from your little and big kids. I turn the basket of wet tea leaves over a small cup to dry them out a bit before pouring out as many of the leaves as possible. I then flush the leftovers down the sink and let the leftovers do their job. Quickly blot the OUTSIDE with a paper towel and I'll let it air dry. I know it takes a lot of effort but the basket does the job and looks brand new.b
