Review on Incase Two Way Convertible Brief Black by Tracy Mckeithen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really looks like a good briefcase!

My first thought was to buy the Bellroy Transit work pack. However, for some reason, they discontinued the black and charcoal colors. I bought the Incase Two-Way backpack/briefcase instead and I love it. I'm still curious and would like to compare them as I can't say Workpack is any more comfortable (if two-sided is comfortable enough). Advantages over the workpack: - Rightfully looks like a professional briefcase with the shoulder straps folded down. No one would have guessed that this was a Transformer, unlike bags of a similar nature. - Has a passage for luggage - Comes with a chest strap - Was on sale and was $95 cheaper than the Workpack. It's usually $150. Cons: - No dedicated water bottle pockets (I fixed this by buying a GSI Outdoor Boulder water bottle and storing it in one of the outside pockets) - Less internal volume (not a huge issue, but it's only useful when traveling. I have really don't mind as I don't see a bag allowing me to travel with the workpack.) Note: I'm not sure if anyone cares as much as I do, but the part that connects the two handles of the briefcase, breaks off if you don't want to use it. I thought it might be annoying having to open it every time in briefcase mode, but I love that it's fully detachable. This is only good for backpack mode so the handles don't dangle.
