DO NOT BUY IF XMP IS NOT SET IN THE BIOS - STANDARD 2400 This memory is 2400 by default. Speed 2666 can only be achieved by go intos BIOS and set XMP to find higher speed. There is no BIOS setting in my ACER AN515-53-55G9 laptop BIOS to make the memory use XMP. In fact, it doesn't have any memory settings at all, so you get the default memory speed for RAM. Someone else pointed out this issue in a review, but I didn't check the reviews because I felt the default memory was 2666. So back to Revain.
