This thing has an awkward green light on top, making it useless for my intended purpose: bolting it to the wall next to my bed so my kids can't (easily) move it over to load your things up. It's too bright, which makes it difficult to sleep. I covered the light part on top with wide and thick tape (hardly the aesthetic I had in mind) and the light still seeps through all the other openings. I don't see anything in the photos or write about the presence of light. It charges my stuff perfectly but since I can't use it for its intended purpose I give it 2 stars. Note that in the photo (which looks darker than it really is) I taped the entire top of the device. Still too bright.
