I actually just wanted a regular 2 inch double mattress pad with no gel because we cut our own pads as I work through them so quickly. Amnesia pads, so buying a mattress topper will save you some money. I don't think this ventilated pad is as soft as the others and doesn't seem to stay inflated like the regular ones. really soft or that stays inflated for a long time because it's not the same.
